Todd Clifton
| Currently eleven (11) freshmen, eighteen (18) sophomores, nine (9) juniors, and nine (9) seniors will transition into the fourteen (14) weight classes for this year's Tiger wresting team. Hosting two (2) home exhibition matches, Coach Clifton looks forward to another rewarding year.
"Though somewhat overwhelming, it is awesome that we have almost fifty (50) young men who want to be a part of the Tiger tradition. Being an athlete requires self-discipline, maintaining strong academic standards, and time management., " Coach Clifton explains.
I truly look forward to working with young men who exhibit high moral values and can commit to the grueling training and the rigor that the competitive events our schedule bring. We will see who comes out strong; we'll know who can adhere to the discipline it takes to be an athlete. A one-to-one event, in wrestling competitors draw from their inner strength, use their physical strength, and they have to think critically quickly. Their reaction time can't wait." Coach Clifton ends, "It's all about attitude and bringing your best every day, every hour. Wrestling is not for slackers."
